Artichoke Pizza Formula by Todd English

Which doesn’t love pizza? I LOVE artichokes so this is going to be the 1st recipe that I try! The qualifying fat burning element in the artichoke pizza bowl is low fat dairy products. He also uses a whole grain Naan Flat Bread as opposed to the white flour variety that we all know that Dr. Oz of doesn’t recommend. For more efficient ways to make a healthy lasagna check out Big Daddy’s Nutritious Pizza Recipe.

Ingredients :

4 pieces of whole wheat Naan Flat Bread
1 cup associated with artichokes (grilled)
 2 tablespoons of artichoke distributed
1/2 cup of low-fat Mozzarella cheese
 3 cups of Arugula
 1 tbs of lemon juice
1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
 1 cup of cherry tomatoes
1 bunch of fresh basil leaves

Directions :

Heat within the oven to Three hundred degrees
Spread some extra virgin olive oil on the flatbread
Spread many artichoke spread and ricotta for the flatbread
 Sprinkle on mozzarella cheese
Bake within oven for 6 minutes (this can range based on your cooker. Bake until cheese is melted and the flatbread can be a golden or to your own liking. I like well done pizza, but many men and women think I’m weird in that regard)
While the flatbread is cooking food in the oven combine the arugula, lemon juice, sea salt, and remaining extra virgin olive oil.
After flatbread is done cooking add the arugula mixture to # 1 of the artichoke pizza plus your done!

Artichoke Spinach Drop Recipe by Todd Wilbur

Ingredients :

1 cup of thawed as well as diced frozen artichoke hearts
1/2 cup of frosty chopped spinach
 2 tablespoons water
4 ounces regarding reduced fat cream cheese
4 ounces of two percent greek low fat yogurt (I have tried Language of ancient greece Yogurt in many various other recipes that have been with Dr Oz. It’s delicious when employed as a healthy fat and fat cutting down ingredient!)
1/2 cup involving grated Parmesan Cheese
 2 Tablespoons of low-fat milk
 1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon regarding crushed red pepper flakes (I remember Dr. Oz saying in past episodes that reddish pepper can boost your metabolism)
1/4 teaspoon associated with garlic powder (I’m the garlic junkie)
1 touch of ground black pepper
 1/2 tomatoe (diced)

Directions :

In any microwave safe pan, mix up the artichoke hearts and minds and chopped green spinach
Add the two tablespoons of mineral water
With some plastic include the top of bowl. Poke some holes in the plastic for air flow purposes
Microwave on large for 6 minutes (I’m betting that this can vary in line with the size of your micro-wave)
 Mix up the remaining elements
Add the artichokes and kale that you just steamed in the microwave oven
Over medium/low heat add the dip mixture regarding 10 minutes stirring often.
Add the diced acidic tomatoes and the dip is completed!

Consider using a healthier option to dip with! Whole rice crackers, or baked whole wheat tortilla shells probably? If you have any dipping suggestions, please depart a comment underneath!

Calories Breakdown :

And so, how did this dip fare compared to a typical artichoke spinach soak recipe? Todd Wilbur’s recipe only has 230 calories and Age 14 grams of body fat. Olive Garden’s spinach dip possesses 488 calories and 3 grams of excess fat. Does this mean we can feed on twice as much of Todd Wilbur’s formula? Well, I guess that might be kind of counter perceptive wouldn’t it?
