Do you want to turn back the hands of time? On today’s show, Doctor Oz was joined by 3 anti-aging experts, Dermatologist, Dr. Joely Kauffman, Nutritionist, Rovenia Brock, PhD, and Fashion Expert, Katrina Szish. These experts showed you how to knock off a decade with nutrition, anti-aging products and even clothes. Learn about the Palovia Skin Renewing Laser for crows feet, Pycnogenol for brown spots (or age spots) and Dr Ro’s Fountain of Youth Shake!

Palovia Skin Renewing Laser & Pycnogenol

Dr Oz spoke about the Palovia Skin Renewing Laser & Pycnogenol that help you to defy your age!

Dr Oz says these 3 experts have cracked the code on looking young. To prove it, he hit the streets with photos of the 3 women and had the public guess their age. Some guesses included in the twenties and in the thirties. One guess was even in the teens.
Dr Oz: Pycnogenol for Brown Spots

Dr Oz showed an image of Dermatologist, Dr. Joely Kauffman. The average age the audience guessed was 31. Her real age? 41-years-old. (For you non-math whizzes, that’s a whopping 10 years younger.)

Dr. Kauffman said her secret weapon to tackle brown spots, which is the first sign of aging, is pycnogenol. Take 50 mg 2 x per day, which also helps with vitamin C and vitamin E absorption. Pycnogenol also provides sun protection. Apply it topically to help fade sunspots.
Palovia Skin Renewing Laser Review for Crow’s Feet

Instead of heading to the dermatologist’s office, which can be expensive, Dr. Kauffman suggested the Palovia Skin Renewing Laser for an at-home treatment. This is the only FDA approved laser for crow’s feet. Do this every day 1 x per day. After a month, do it once a week to help reduce crow’s feet.

To use, place the included gel on the side of the eye. Take the laser and put it directly to the skin. (You’ll feel a light snapping). Cost for this at-home laser is $450. It may be slightly more expensive, but Dr. Kauffman said you’ll spend up to twice as much at the dermatologist. (Dr Oz suggested purchasing it and having a crow’s feet removal party.)
Ole Henriksen Truth is in the Eyes Review

Another product Dr. Kauffman suggested was the Ole Henriksen Truth is in the Eyes product. This all-natural topical solution helps get rid of crow’s feet, as well as, reduces dark under eye circles. You can buy it here: Ole Henriksen Truth Is In The Eyes.
Dr Oz Fountain of Youth Shake Recipe

Dr Oz showed a picture of Nutritionist, Rovenia M. Brock, PhD. The audience guessed her age as 34. Her real age is 56. (Dr Oz was even shocked!) Rovenia told Dr Oz that her anti-aging secret included a shake she drank every morning.
Dr Ro’s Fountain of Youth Shake Recipe

Ingredients

1 C coconut water (hydrates the skin)
2-3 wheatgrass ice cubes (make your own cubes with lemon juice and fresh wheatgrass. Then freeze) wheatgrass purifies and de-toxes
3 pineapple spears
2 bunches spinach
½ peeled lemon
1 green apple (small)
1 Tbsp ginger
Pour ingredients into a blender and mix. Antioxidants help prevent wrinkles and help prevent toxic buildup, which makes you look older. They tasted the shake and Dr Oz said it was “fresh.” Drink this every morning.
Biotin Hair Review

For youthful hair, Rovenia suggested 5 mg of biotin per day. You should also start your day with almond butter on whole-wheat toast, which contains a good supply of biotin. Rovenia says “A healthy mane equals a younger look.” (and I agree!)
Dr Oz: Clothes to Look Younger

Dr Oz showed a picture of Fashion Expert, Katrina Szish. The average age guessed for Katrina was 24. Her real age? 40-years-old! Katrina says to “defy your age by putting your clothes on a diet.” You can shave off 10 years from your look simply by getting rid of baggy clothes. Go for a jacket that hits at the waist to show more of your figure. The arm hold should be higher and slimmer. Skirts shouldn’t be too long, but mini-skirts are age inappropriate. A skirt should hit exactly at your knee (and no more than 2-inches higher.)

Dr Oz showed a “before” image of audience member, Claire. She was dressed in a dowdy, black skirt outfit. Katrina says black is not slimming when you’re in baggy clothes. Go for something bright and patterned instead. Also, embrace statement accessories, like a bold necklace.

Made-over Claire confidently walked out onto the stage in a floral, knee-length sleeveless dress. She wore a lime colored beaded necklace that framed the face nicely. (She looked great!)
